I added another link to a different site, in the first post.  Reverbnation seems to do that a lot laterly.  A bigger server may be needed.

That one works...

It's very Tom Petty-ish...

Nicely done...

Hi Michael.  I'm off the laptop now and in the studio to listen to this one.  I seldom listen to CR myself, but this Forum is a good place to learn and get new ideas and fresh viewpoints.  These guys help me all the time!

I like where you're trying to go with this tune, and I like the way the crunch guitar comes in and goes out.

A few little things-  The whole mix sounds like it has a bit of a "boxy" EQ on it on my system. Is that intentional?  The hi hat seems very far left, and is a little disconcerting to me.  This was something I used to do on every one of my tunes a long time ago, and I learned to bring it more toward center on the opposite side of the snare.  maybe it's just me, but it seems like the crunch guitar is right on top of your vocal.  It would sound killer in wide stereo I think.. just my opinion there....and maybe bring the stereo acoustic more to center so as to have a nice panorama of guitars, with your vocal reserved for dead center.

I think it's great when someone recognizes their weaker facets, but endeavors to make them stronger!

Good job.

Tony, interesting observations on this one.  I used the LP64 EQ on this one a did a little boost to the highs in the 4K range, but it has been that way on all of my previous demos.  I could try backing it off a little.  Did n't notice the high hat, but will listen again when I get a chance.

Going to wait and see what others think as well, then go back for one last revision.

Hi Mike. This is so nice - your vocals are great. The recording of this is spot on - the message is too.

Thanks Clean.  This song, of the hundreds that I have written, has turned out to be my personnal favorite.  This one was no effort at all, it just rolled out of me within an hour.  Funny how some you just labor over and others almost write themselves.
