Or to be more correct the whole Thompson family.

Teddy Thompson, together with parents Richard and Linda, brother Jack, younger sister Kami, her husband James Walbourne, and nephew Zak Hobbs collectively dubbed Thompson will release a collaborative album of all new original songs entitled Family. The album's 2-Disc (1CD+1DVD) Deluxe Edition features the beautifully rendered 15-minute film 'Thompson: The Making of Family' on DVD. Utilizing interviews, studio footage and vintage family photos, the film captures the warmth, intelligence and humor of this supremely talented family as they record together for the very first time.  the CD releases Nov. 17th!

Teddy is a talented guy in his own right and has been a frequent contributer to the BBC's excellent "Transatlantic Sessions" series. It will also be intresting to hear Richard and Linda together after all these years.

I will be getting this. I liked the last R&L Thompson album I got was it Waking on a Wire? I don't remember but I like their stuff and it exposed me to Fairport Convention which I somehow missed back in the day and Ian Matthews (whom I was aware of but have re-discovered). Valley Hi is now in regular rotation. I'm looking forward to this new album, thanks for the heads up!

I ordered the CD and DVD. They sent me the CD only. Then said, "opps". We will make it right. Then after a couple of weeks I get a download link for the DVD. At first I thought, OK... but the more I thought about it, the more it bothered me. It is not what I ordered and paid for.
I sent them an email and told them that, imo, it is not OK and they can either send me what I ordered or send me their address and I will return the CD and they can refund me my money. I don't have a DVD burner and neither do I intend to go buy a DVD-R and make a copy with the title in marker. I could watch it on my computer but I'm not going to.
Maybe I am being unreasonable but they should have offered to replace it. If they had, maybe I would be OK with the download but as it is I am not OK with it. So far they have ignored me.
It is an OK CD... but I wouldn't recommend buying it from them, poor CS, IMO.

I'll let you know if I hear back from them. If not I'll find a RT fan forum to complain on... I like Richard a LOT but his people are crappy.
