For my 3 platinum choices. Liking those kits, hard rock like Zep to Deep Purple. What would be good choices for the midi packs and producers bundle, with the above in mind?

I think they have one called LOUD which they used to offer as part of an AD/Midi bundle.  I also think that one of the midi packs which came with the old Retro had some Zeppy grooves, but I am not sure what they are calling it now.  It's kind of hard to keep track of things as they restructured and renamed a few things going from V1 to V2.

And what are producer bundles?? An additional selection of individual drums? That's what the selections look like to me.

I like Loud, Heavy Rock and Rock Songs in that genre. Punk Rock is cool for straight up fast beats.

American Rock and American Indie are said on their website to be made for Fairfax 1 & 2. Loud Beats and Songs is made for the Black Velvet Kit. I got them last night and they are really good. Beefy, but not too heavy.

With the Producer's Bundle you get

3 ADpaks
3 MIDI Paks
3 Kit Pieces.

Hope that helps...

thx cclarry.   actually I think I've come to believe it is separate kit pieces.

Any rate...got the stuff mentioned above...thx Sidroe... as they DO seem to be the ones suited for those kits.

Just my opinion but I would like to see a broader range of individual kit pieces over at XLN. Especially, latin percussion.
Also, be careful about the snares and kicks when you make your choice. If you already have AD2 and some kits you could be choosing the same kick or snare kit piece you already have in a kit you already have. I almost bought the same piccolo snare that I had from AD1. I thought about that and switched to the DW piccolo instead.
