I also put this song on YouTube.  Anyone know why the sound is better on YouTube than Soundcloud???  Big difference in my opinion.

You get to see some pretty pictures too.  LOL

I think I just found/questioned this the other day as well.  I believe Im hearing on my monitors now what others recommend on some of my stuff I mess with.

I would not have guessed much comping went on here. The whole tune seems to flow very well with no apparent disconnect between anything. You have some good mixing skills there for sure. I liked the drum beats you went with. Just the right amount of feel for this IMO. You broke things up in just the right places. The guitar at around 3:47 is very nice as are all the guitar parts overall.

Hope we can hear more from you. This was excellent!!

Hi Starise... thanks for stopping in and for the positive comments.  I am laughing though, because in this rather large project, the 24 guitar tracks took the least amount of time to record, yet I'm guessing it took at least 500 "takes" to get the parts played correctly.  LMAO   Luckily, the parts just flowed together.  The wah-wah parts toward the end (twin solos) just magically came together and I have no idea how... I love it when that happens!

At 3:47 that's the Tele on the neck pickup with a hint of drive from the Sparkle Drive pedal.

All reverbs and delays in this project are from stock Sonar FX chains (usually a Sonitus reverb and CW stereo tempo delay)  The guitars were recorded dry (yuk).

Enjoyed 89 tracks!  Just kidding.  That was great.  I am going to practice playing my bass along with it.  Whats 1 more bass to balance with 24 guitar parts?

OMG absolutely great!  No critique.  Really warm mix.  How did you do that?

Munmun...  a few loops, a bunch of Yamaha Motif audio tracks (killer synth), learning to use the ProChannel and FX Chains, careful attention to guitar tone with my trusty SM57 mic (no guitar/amp sims used), Console Emulator on Master Bus...... then final mastering with Ozone 5.

..nothing special really.  A few tricks concerning stereo field placement of instruments maybe?

Thanks for the listen!
