Wookiee - this is fantastic - kind of Star Trek meets Pink Floyd.

Man you are one talented guy - love it.

LOL  Loved the R2D2 in it. I see everyone else caught it too.

Cool music.  I could just stay lost in it.

Nice sonic journey! How many synths/sounds did you use? Did you use a lot of automation or did you program the sounds/fx like that?

It's totally original, but I hear a little bit of Tangerine Dream and Tonto's Expanding Head Band in the song.  Good moody stuff.

I like the sounds, but it feels more like a synth sounds demo than anything else to me - could use something more delicate and melodic here and there to make it feel more complete.

Wookiee
Scott: Many thanks for your ears my fine fiddling friend.

Mark: Start trek meets Pink Floyd  thanks I really do appreciate your ears and you input.

Mike: Appreciate you popping in, RDD2 nice guy liked his Gin tonic a lot

Mark: (zybermark) Thanks for having a listen, I used eight synths, four hardware synths Roland JV1080, Novation KS Rack, Korg O5R/w, Roland JP8080.  The four soft synths are Arturia ARP 2600V, Prophet 5V, CS80V and Dim Pro. The KS, the JV and the Dim Pro are modified patches, the Arturia synths apart from the CS80V which is just a tweaked patch are all original patches programmed by myself.  Any FX is tweaked in some way.  Quite extensive automation, for which I found the lanes very useful. Thanks again for your interest and comment.

Jan: Thanks you, I knew those nights listening to Tangerine Dream and Tonto's Expanding Head Band in blue smoky filled rooms would pay off one day.  Your ears and input are always appreciated.

I really liked the whale conversations 1/3 of the way in.  This one kept me interested all the way through.  Not a common thing with me and this genre.  Maybe because R2D2 is one of my favorite actors!  LOL

I find it reminiscent of the "Intro" to Welcome to the Machine...

(YES - I'm a Floyd Head... )

I like it a lot!   Very Kewl....
