We were at my parents house a month ago and started to go through some old clothes and I started to get a bit of asthma. I've known for years that I am allergic to "house dust", it isn't just dust but anyway... that was a Sunday, by the following Thursday I had a low fever and bronchitis. I've been through two antibiotics, the first one I told the doctor I couldn't take, Augmentin. So after three days he switched me to Doxycyline which I finished taking this morning. He put me on an inhaler, Symbacort... my cough is dry and worse, burns all the way down to the bottom of my breastbone. I'm tired and tired of it. When I went the first time I was a PA. I'm going to make an appointment with the DOCTOR tomorrow. It's been a month and a day, hard to talk, can't sing. I keep thinking I'm getting better but in the afternoon it is back, tight and dry.
Need prayers, mojo, or whatever you have.
Thanks,
Julien

Best wishes to you, my friend.

I've had cold symptoms for 2 weeks now. I don't feel sick anymore, but I still cough and have a runny nose. The thing is I'm never sick, and I hadn't had a cold in years - but this one lingers on.

One of our friends who's a singer for one of Cirque's show here also had a severe laryngitis which put her out for over 10 days. And now it's my wife's understudy, who's been out for the last two days.

Heck, even Arthur the cat is sneezing and coughing.

All seems relatively innocuous compared to what you've been through though.

Thanks... I'm OK, just a darn cough. Everything else is what it is, just life. I've noticed a LOT of people seem to have a lingering cough this year.... and Bapsi... mojo is mojo my friend!

Strange, uh?

Since I'm never sick, when we were forced to get flu shots (for immigration), I figured I'd be twice as invulnerable. Didn't quite work that way.

A couple of years ago I had a new cold every few weeks, it was the strangest thing. Just when I thought I was getting over one I'd wake up with a funky feeling in my throat and it would start all over again. The following year I had like one cold and that was it. I can't be 100% sure but I think it might have been down to the elderberry throat spray I started using. It's called Sambucus and I spray my throat with it a couple of times a day in the winter now. Every time I feel that funkiness I up the dosage (sprayage?) and it seems to go away.

I sympathize with the endless coughing though. I'm not one for coughs but when I get a sinus thing I can't stop sneezing and after a couple of weeks it gets OLD. Get well soon!
