Hi,  My transport or play button aka multidock has suddenly without my setting been reverted to the minimized position, and when I click on expand, it simply won't expand.  I tried opening other various templates.

Ok it was in top right corner "lenses">Advanced...however the keyboard button "c" works also.
 
One other thing... okay I don't know what forces are blocking my sound recording data from my synth to sonar pro now, however insert audio track>record sound data> and also the inspector sound meter software is not picking up levels coming from my monitors from the synth throughput...

Update, Sonar Pro recorded to 2 audio tracks indicated by wave regions.  However there was no audible playback.  

Can you provide info on your audio interface? This is pertinent because it may be a routing issue causing the "no audible playback."
 
On the minimized MultiDock, try holding SHIFT and then press "D." Does this maximize it?
