I liked it Shawn.  Nice Native vibe.  At about 6:20 long, I would like to have heard the tune go "somewhere else" maybe at around 3:35...up to a IV chord maybe???.... just to keep interest going.... or maybe just a little different texture crossfade might be appropriate.  I'm just learning a little bit about "chill" style myself (which this tune sorta reminds me of), so I'm no real advisor..  LOL  I'm a big fan of blending textures, synth voices, etc, so I may be biased.

Fun to get out of the box, huh?   :-)  More!!!!

This time you've created a moody and subtle piece of music.  It tells a story of intricacy without the grandiosity.  The theme is haunting and apropo to the Native American motif.  With a little bit more spice (a short solo?), this could tell the story of the Trail of Tears.  I give you all the credit in the world for your variety and adventurous approach to your craft.

Hey, Shawn,

Very cool piece of electronica with nice synth choices and performances, and a fresh sounding well textured mix!

Great stuff!

wow, very nicely done.   Although it exceeds 6 min in length as Tony pointed out, the textures you've done with this doesn't get boring to listen to.  There are some really nice subtle touches of how you bring the rhythms in and out and do certain fades with the atmospheric sounds, that really give a nice feel and visuals.   Very nice work here, I totally enjoyed it!

I quite like this, as noted there could be some tweaks here and there just to take it somewhere.  For me I would be tempted to roll off some of the bottom end after the initial impact it could be a little boomy(?) in some listening environments.

At the end of it the tune is yours and the sound you are looking for is what makes your ears smile.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Kev111.1 JD, Bob & Wookie, this song has already been used in a couple of Native American documentaries so I would consider it a total success. Thank you guys very much! - Shawn
