It sure seems to be new stuff. Nothing says it's from other EZX. I have a bit of a love/hate deal with these type packs. I just love jazz drumming but I seldom( as in never) find a use for them.

When it comes to Jazz, I've always been skeptical about midi grooves but this pack is actually pretty good and I was surprised how good the grooves felt. I can't say whether you will ever have a need for this sort of collection but when you do, you will know where to go to get them.

I have a pile of midi grooves that came with the kits and still have yet to use even one groove out of them. My goal is to soon sit down and create a complete drum track using these things. I would like to use some of the rolls and fills but I just haven't the time usually to get that involved. A lot of my work for clients is just too custom to the point of bread and butter grooves just won't work and the midi grooves I have are so busy and over the edge that they are just unusable. The few times I tried to use them, I spent more time cutting and dragging and trimming and aligning. Well, It would have been less headache just to go ahead and write it myself.
That being said, I will get this Jazz midipak as it sounds very promising in useable content.

Don't know about this new Toontrack pack but the previous one was quite difficult to use from my point of view.
The packs from Groove Monkey are much easier to use ,again from my part,and they give a base that is easy to tweak and I could get some satisfying results with them.

You got right to the point for me, Mod. That's pretty much what I would want out of a jazz pack. I have a few serial numbers left from a 6 pack so I might jump on this.
