Hello, its Halloween again, so I am posting "Trick or Treat", instrumental progressive rock done in Sonar with lots of synths, multisamples, and fun!

Enjoy!  http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=5671876

Would love comments!

Jeff, I thoroughly enjoyed this on my headphones. Great job on the whole project........very nicelyplayed & mixed.

What did you use for the choir and what synths did you use for this?

Thanks, Mesh.  I used East West Symphonic Choirs (with their Word Builder).  My gosh (trying to remember), I used a bunch of mostly soft synths/samplers. Guitar's were Prominy LPC, some of the lead synth was Z3ta+ and I am sure I used some Atmosphere in there too.  Drums were EZ Drummer.  I think I might have used the EMU EXtreme Lead as well.

Thanks again for the kind words.  Happy Halloween!

This is stupendous!  Your synthesizer work took me on a journey over a well crafted soundscape.  It's very apropo for the season.  Encore!

Hey - QUITE nice.  I am a prog keyboard player and found the keyboard parts nice and fresh sounding.

Good job with all of it!

Hey Jeff, Prog Rock my favorite.  Like the choirs, when the music finally kicked in reminded me of Forever Autum (Jeff Wayne).

It's well played, the mix is ok but it needs to go somewhere.  I like the ELP keyboard flourishes but ultimately I was left a little meh.  When doing Prog Rock, think King Crimson and not ELP or even Yes.  Don't get me wrong love Elp but ELP had this same problem that is some of their tunes not really going anywhere.  Where as Crimson never had this problem.

Peace Ben

Thanks for listening and commenting, Ben.  The funny thing is, older Rush (Hemispheres !) is really my favorite, despite a lack of keyboards.
