Carry on my wayward Spacey!

(My last custom had the full-on original Floyd, the one being built - and on hold for years - will have a Kahler.  We'll see!)

what did you expect spacey ? , you are talking to guitar players about guitars

Once anybody starts talking to guitar players about guitars  , it is only a short matter of time before everybody starts whipping out the ole pictures , once that happens , before you know it , the next thing that's gonna happen is we all start telling our personal war stories …..

What can I possibly say about that FRX thing ? this thread is the first I've heard of it
I play a Gibson Historic R 8 Plain top Cherry Sunburst Les Paul . If that thing comes anywhere's near my guitar I may have to use deadly force and go all EL Kabong on it's a$$ with a Squier Strat or something ……

Every body knows that The Gibson Les Paul Cherry Sunburst is a perfect guitar just the way it is …even Gibson Knows that

you see spacey ,
I just went all "Guitar Player " on you  it's an affliction bro …guitar players just can't help it
there is no cure for it

have a nice day .

LOL Kenny!
I think we'd had a great time if our paths would have crossed at Manny's.

It is funny though...and to think...I wonder how many of the most expensive guitars in the world
had all that stuff to wiggle the strings? lol

Two of the biggest extreme whammy users I know of are Vai and Satch....someday those locknut
needed whammy's and auto-tuners will be on the most expensive list. For now I guess we have to settle for
that old hat stuff that players just had to learn how to make little tuning adjustments while they play...I can
see where that could be getting to be a tuff thing for todays players to do...well I sure don't know but it seems
that way.
Of course now they want one guitar to sound like everything else rather than switch guitars...I'm just old so I don't see clearly these days I reckon.

Thank you Kenny.
I feel the same about you. I think there are a lot of cool folks here. Ya don't have to agree on everything and it's always great to have other views to think about.

Like most everything to do with guitars it's what the player needs and likes so it's great that it's there for players. Since I think it's ugly as hell too I'm sure glad I don't need it. Of course I haven't seen eye to eye with Gibson for many years now.
I guess if they put that thing on an SG they'd get my vote for most ugly award LOL. (yeah I'm ducking Herb :)
