I like the feel of this tune, almost kind of like modern country meets reggae. This song is well done and a bit different from what I expected, but different in a good way.

Hmm, I'm curious as to what you were expecting... (grin;-)
Thanks for listening and commenting... I followed your music link and was impressed with what I heard... I hope you'll post something here soon...

I aint sayin this cos ya commented on my track or anything, but this is one of my favs from you Frank, it has excellent melody and a real laid back feel. I could easily play this in the background at home. Gave me a kenny rogers feel.

For me, although very well done, I thought the guitar break was too long, but very minor crit.

This is very nice Frank, a little departure from your usual genre perhaps, but a really sweet, well written song. Lovely mix, and an effortlessly good solo as always. You never disappoint me..

Love that twangy geetar.  Nice mixture with the background vocals and those really nice guitar licks.  Very tasteful lines.  A nice tune.  Nothing stands out as not right.  Nice clean mix.  Great ending.

Daryl

Thanks Daryl... I appreciate the feedback... Fun project...

Thanks for the ears & words Cian... I don't really get the Kenny Rodgers referance, but I am glad you like the tune, and I agree with you about the guitar solo maybe being a little too long... Thanks again for the feedback...

 Hi Frank,

I really liked the quack you're getting from that guitar. Have not read the other posts and maybe you said what you are playing here, I'm guessing it is a fender?

I am a south Georgia native so I know all about those south Georgia pines lol....the only difference is I don't want to go back there ;) at least not on a permenant basis. Still I liked those words, always liked songs about returning to our home.

The playing and singing were really nice here on this one.
