one just takes away from the song how it relates to them. Kind of leaving it open to the listeners interpretation and how they pull from it to make it their own story.

Michael. Yea, I get wrapped up in the anal-ness of lyric writing (in everything actually). Cause, as one writes, it's hard to separate one's own vision/story/picture into something randomly vague that can appeal to others on the level you described. Thanks for that.
