Bill,
Sure I understand how that goes …
I have a pretty nice pedal board that has what I need , then I have a smaller multi self contained unit …
If you wind up playing with these guys on a regular basis you may be able to dial in what you have now so it will work easier for you ….or you may even decide to get the same pedal rig the other guitar player uses …
I have found that what sounds good at home doesn't always translate well on the gig …or even a band practice …
it can take a lot of knob twisting to get things exactly right .

Wow what a pleasant surprise! I went to the gig with low expectations and found a really well polished band. Everyone  was very friendly and they are NOT a sequenced band. They used it on 6 tunes and those were hip hop tunes. I was impressed. They went from "Waiting on the Bus/Jesus Just left Chicago" to  "Word Up" to "Something to Talk About". The club was packed and loved the band. They won me over after the 3rd song. The drummer was a black guy from New Orleans that was just great! They all sing too. The videos posted don't do these guys justice. They sound much better live. No sequenced drums there! Rehearsal on Tues. to work me in. Slowly I hope cuz me not smart like others. I have abbynormal brain from doctor

Well they certainly have done a complete 360.
I am glad, since the old formula wasn't working for them and they made the changes.
They DO need to rework their web pages since it is misleading.
So I am still puzzled by what the guy told you about all programming, UNLESS he was speaking of those six songs specifically.
Glad you are happy and hope the schedule is such you can do the gigs.

sounds like you found a home!

Bill I'm so glad you got the first one in the 'bag'.

I've been in bands that sound similar to that where everyone around me has thought they would somehow damage my credibility (as if I ever had any) due to the material they played and the venues they worked at  but I've turned up and they've been excellent players, the crowd have dug them, they've paid well and most importantly I've had a blast playing with them and being part of it.

Good stuff.
