Very happy for you, Bill. I'm glad you had such a great time playing with them. It sounds like you might have finally found a band that fits.

I've been in bands that had fits, but that's a completely different problem. 

I wonder if the band would have a problem if you showed up wearing a different style of prison suit?

It's all good now. What's in the past doesn't matter to me. What's done is done.  I kinda hope she keeps the handcuffs BUT THAT's NEITHER HERE NOR THERE! I found a new band! THAT GETS PAID!

After hearing the guitarist's  Line 6 POD HD500 I'm tempted to get me one. I use old fashioned pedals and look like I'm tap dancing sometimes going for different effects during a tune. He had presets that took one press and the sound was there. 

I was glad to hear it Bill until you said Line 6 and now that I'm done puking I think you should hold off for
this.
 
( or whatever...I just hate Line 6 ...hey...I can't say it without gagging but typing it doesn't seem to bother me)

Thanks for the info Spacey! I like simple. I use a distortion, delay, chorus,and wah with my hot rod deluxe. That's what I use.
I mentioned to the band leader how nice it seemed that the guitar player just hit one switch and he had just the right sound for that particular song, lead, fill, with the right delay, distortion, and effect. He told me it took 5 years to get it that way and that was if it worked right that particular night. 
With the price of the HD500 I might as well go for the gusto and get a good pedal board.
 
The band doesn't run stereo so I don't see the point of a stereo setup. I will have to mic my amp. The other guy plugged into the board L & R. The band leader likes that and said he could find me a HD500. I told him to hold off till he's heard my setup. With all the new fangled stuff out I need to do some checking out but may be better off using what I got. It sounds fine but I think I need to add a gate.

It would take me 15 gigs to break even if I bought the FX8 Multi-Effects Pedalboard. 4 months
