There is nothing modern about this piece. Nice tune though but could easily have been heard 60 or 70 years ago. Modern recording yes but not musically. You have to be careful about using the word 'modern'.

Go to YouTube and key in Kurt Rosenwinkel. He is modern. Kurt is the most important modern Jazz guitarist in the world right now believe me.

Jazz is def not my thing it always reminds me of muzak played in an elevator (sorry) but I can hear that the players are excellent and the mix and master is more than passable.
