Fooling around with a loop beat and a bass riff yesterday when I began searching for a theme to help write the melody/lyrics. The first thing that popped into my head, which created quite an online stir yesterday, was the Austrian skydiver, Felix Baumgartner's record breaking free fall skydive (like 127,000 feet!) Edgy stuff!

Production sounds good, but as good as the vox treatment is, I would maybe have gone for a different one with this - bit more edgy / distorted telephone style may suit better. A bit too much Cian in it for the style if that makes sense ?

This is pretty darn good from ground level.  I happen to like your voice as is, but since you just started playing with it, the sky's the limit.  The song is already good, and it showcases your talent very well.  I'm still giddy for "Lost For You".  Keep em coming, Cian!

Hey Cian!  Really cool groove lad!  I like the vox...kinda 80's...which I like.  I really like the rhythm pattern(s) too.  Good mix and production.  My one little crit is that one or two of the synth sounds don't maintain par with the quality of your song...a bit video game-ish in spots.  Other than that- super!

I too, was facinated by this story... great subject material... I love your singing here... you really have a clear & powerful voice... I also love the song/ arrangement, I just cant take the wimpy hi synth...   that doesn't work for me at all... otherwise this is a very strong track...

Hi Lynn again, I happen to like this type of music a lot for some reason. Lost of you has certainly been a hit with some of my friends who actually listen to it regularly (err.... or so they tell me)

Tony, lad! (use this in Ireland a lot!), thanks you very much, Im a huge MJ fan and I will subconsciously imitate him in this genre, hence maybe the 80's feel your thinking. I have replaced one of those synths with something a little grittier. Oh and I have been bombarding any site I can get me hands on, no joy yet! Ill keep trying and lease I might get a few view counts!

Thank you thepogue and Frank for you comments, cant beat a bit of fun.Frank I have replaced that wimpy synth and replaced with something with more of a "saw" wave incorporated. Let me know if its better if you can.

Yes, the sawtooth-wave sound is an improvement, but there is still that video game sounding element, that someone mentioned earlier...
I still like the song a lot, and as I said earlier, its a very strong production, and I love the vocal performance...
