I remember someone here posting something many years ago saying that due to the circumstances of the Music industry, there are large numbers of Singers (even in Nashville) that could be acquired very cheaply for session work.  Less then €100.  I could understand that as I'm sure so many are trying there best to survive in the industry.  
 
I'm struggling to find many myself.  Might anyone know of a good online sites to pick up such session singers?

It has singers as a category... choose a genre..... hit search..... prices vary.  I have not used this site for any of my projects but if I needed a female vocalist for a song I was pitching, this will be a strong possibility. Working with local singers is just such a pain and ended up costing me more than some of these folks charge.
 
With the internet, great singers don't have to be in Nashville or LA. They can work across the internet with you from anywhere.

Try a google search of: Lydia Salnikova.
 
lives in Nashville and she'll record vocals via the internet.
She used to be in the group 'Bering Strait' and is also an excellent pianist.
She was born in Russia but you'd never know it by her Nashville-type voice.
