It requires a ReWire plugin to use and the playback of the DAW with the plugin is broken. It's to a point where its unusable because the changes I make just get overwritten instead of accepted if I do the wrong thing. Can you all please fix this problem as I'm severely out of Auto-tune program options if this thing doesnt work.
I don't like Melodyne and would rather use other options.

It's officially not supported per Waves. "
  • Waves Tune & Tune LT: are supported on the following hosts: Pro Tools (AAX Native 64-bit, RTAS & Audiosuite only), Logic Pro, Nuendo, Cubase, Ableton Live, and Studio One."

Cakewalk does not make the product, Waves does please contact them first (also if you aren't on X3E you should be).

In the unlikely event of it being a Sonar issue Waves needs to contact Cakewalk. Regardless it appears to be an enhancement request if Cakewalk is not on their compatibility list.

Reconsider Melodyne I suggest, it really is quite good. Izotope as well.

    Many thanks.

by any chace are you using VST3 version? If so, try the VST2.  I know there are some VST3 plugs that don't play well with Sonar. Unfortunately, there are a few products seem like they did very little, if any testing with Sonar.

The vst2 version never worked right for me. I thought with the new vst3 support X3 might be able to run Waves Tune properly. But I got Melodyne and haven't messed with Waves Tune since then. So I don't know if it will work or not. I know not much help, but I will be watching this thread in hopes someone gets it working.
