Yes, I think the strings also were weak, if not needing more high end also. Perhaps not bright enough for me, but nice composition in the end.

Al: Thanks for listening, the wave file sounds fine I am wondering if the MP3 conversion has done the classic and masked out the high end as it considered it in audible, again thanks for the listen and comment.

Wookiee... I agree.... I was only referring to the actual sample sound... not how ya mixed them... a qualitative judgement of one string vs another.... know what I mean?  Laptops suck.  lol

Sounds good! Interesting piece. I would add more instruments at the end to build it up like timpanis, trumpets, more strings, but not sure if that is what you want on the piece.

Needs more cowbell!!!!. ;). Strings (and brass) done in midi are hard to get just right... you did a good effort. And I am DEFINITELY no expert.

Yep, the mid-strings definitely sound better on larger speakers.  I think what I'm hearing and mentioned is the "ensemble" strings in places.  Nothing to do with playing... just the quality of the sample... my opinion only.

Now, I've got to get this stuff off my shoes....
