Band19 - Thanks so much for the listen and comments.  It is a pleasure to play the real thing and obtain control of the dynamics of the instrument.  Each grand I've played over the years has it's own character/personality and it takes some "playing time" to be able to eventually get those unique attributes out of each different grand.  It is very hard for me to get that level of expression out of the plugin products...although the plugins (similar to Ivory, etc.) do fit a purpose too... for the right mixes.

Jeff:  absolutely stunning - hearing this really made my day.  I'm like Warren, I was just giving a listen to something really heavy and then this hit me square and knocked the breath out of me!  haha!   What an awesome, sweet piece and this could never be a synth'd sound.  I don't know what better words to give it - I could listen all day long.  And my vote is, it doesn't need any other instruments, nothing could improve on this sound - but different?  yeah, it can make it slightly different.   I want to listen to more of this stuff so keep posting.  And re-posting.   !!!   -John

Beautiful piece.  It certainly stands on it's own.  If anything added, I would give a +1 to a brush kit and stand-up bass.   Maybe a far off muted trumpet here and there.   That said, it's good to go as is....
