I agree this does have Peter Gabriel vibe, and is quite lovely...
You have a distinctive and soulful voice, and it sounds great on this cool new tune... Well done Lynn...

Lynn, I don't think it's some much an issue of the over all vocal volume, but the lower freq. setting of the chorus effect itself. I would set that freq. a bit higher before moving the vocal trk fader..just my 2 bits.

It said this was Indian music? But I don't hear a tabla or anything? Are you sure you got the Genera right? I didn't care much for the drum sounds and the percussive synths. But that's just personal. The lead guitar is pretty cool, and your voice has its typical quality which I find very pleasing. Kind of Steve Miller meets Roger Waters (to me).

The drums and percussion, seem to need to do more during the verse, and on the chorus, they're just buggin me.  The song is cool though, and very original, good job.

Kev, that's a good idea about changing the lower frequency of the chorus to bring out the vocal.  I'll start with that, and I'll bet you're right.  Good ears and good catch.

Robby, I'm not certain where you're getting the Indian music concept from, but I suspect your tongue is planted firmly in your cheek?  I think you're gonna have to learn to live with the percussion as is because I feel that I achieved my goal in that regard.  Thank you for pointing out the guitar and vocal.  As well as you sing, I'd love to hear your voice on a song of mine.  I still love that Bad Company song you posted a few weeks ago.  Take care.

It said Indie on the genera? And it's like they say, you can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time? But you can never please my ex...

Yep, very Gabriel like.  I like it Lynn.  The percussion was fine to my ears.  I did have a little trouble in spots, as others have mentioned, picking out the vocals.  Overall great feel.

This is really nice! I like your style here. Everything sounds good here! Love the bass!

My only crit would to make the end more legato rather than staccatto. IMO, it sounds abrasive. Other than that

Well done!!! Great song!!!
