Agreed.... nice tune. I noticed you used Jamstix.... I really need to work with it again.... I go through phases working with different things...and I like what JS did in this tune.

The mix is good...... I might bump the vox a few db higher.... not too much. The current low level lends itself to this quite well.

Thank you Herb for you time and comments.  I often use a mixture of Jamstix, Superior Drummer, and Session Drummer on my tracks.  Jamstix is one of those very affordable gems that a lot of people don't know about.  As mentioned earlier, the vox will come up a tad on the next pass.  It's always good to hear from you.

I can't think of a single thing I don't like about this song. Everything is just right. Narrative tension, perfectly placed instruments to convey the feel of the song. Love the guitar. Love the bass. great vocal and harmony. And a terrific mix. Inspiring work. Mark

Lynn, you keep coming up with new stuff.  I agree with Malcomb that the voice could be louder, or more present in some way.  It's a good vocal and should be heard.  As I listened it seemed that it was more present sometimes than others.  Maybe some envelopes.  I don't know buddy, it seems that later in the song the vocal is louder.  That could also be personal ear problems.  LOL.  No matter, this is a really well done and well written song.

Mark, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comments.  Thank you for taking the time to listen.

Warren, I'm going to address the vocal shortly.  Envelopes may be the way to go, as you suggest.  Thank you so much for having a listen and helping me with this production.  It sure helps to have friends like all of you because this wouldn't be half as fun otherwise.

Hi Lynn I like this one , the drum & percussion track seems a bit too far back in the mix for my taste . Your vocals I liked and the lyrics I liked as well . I don't know Lynn you seem to be on a created roll yourself nice one I enjoyed it .

Keep'em coming buddy -James

James, thank you so much for having a listen.  The next time I mix this, I will pay attention to the percussion levels.  I appreciate your input, and I always enjoy your company.

Now that's cool!  So much going to keep the interest.  I agree that the percussion is really nice.  The bass too.  :)  And vocals, of course.  Great production!
