Hi all,
I was looking to install my IK Miroslav since I have ST3. However, I might have to pay for a download credit which made me start wondering about options. I forgot that I had GPO from back in the day, and that makes me eligible for Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 for $49.

What do you think? Is it better/worse/same as IK Miroslav?

I have both and I tend to use GPO4 as my goto for quick and dirty. Miroslav is as good and some would say better. I use the EastWest and Kirk Hunter for more realistic sounding soundtrack stuff but GPO4 for the money is a no brainer for me.

Seems like it'd be well worth the 49 bucks even if it doesn't become your go-to library and all you end up using is a couple of brass patches. I'd take that deal.

Cool! Glad you found the info helpful...

PS: Let me know what you think of it. I've been on a synth tear lately and need to SLOW MY S**T down. Komplete and Omnisphere and ST3 - man, if I don't have the sounds I need by now...

LOL. Any one of those three could keep you busy for a year at least. I'd say you're set for a long, cold Nebraska winter.

ha! You got that right! :) I'm also learning Ableton Live and push and exploring EDM. It's been really fun to explore a new genre...
