Just spoke to him again.
 
They feel after his upcoming non-invasive procedure he should be going home in a day or two.
 
They had him on a gurney wheeling to the OR and then "an emergency" bumped him back to his room.
 
I may have to drive down there and tell them Jan is their #1 Emergency and that's that.

I had a nice chat with Jan not long ago...He seems to be a very nice guy and I wish him well.

Without singling him out I will say he's one the good guys.
 
We've met in person at least five times now. He lives about 40 minutes away from me (on a clear path).
