And the award for the most insanely sweet blues-ish tone I've ever had goes to this unlikely couple...

Can't believe I hadn't really hooked them up together until last night. But things being what they are, my bad shoulder prevented me from playing the Riviera as much as I wanted for months, and I'm almost always in recording mode, most often direct...

The P-90s sounded good w/ the POD HD, though that pre-mastered sound made them a bit thiner than they really are and also a bit heavy on the high end.

Likewise, the Randall was fine for heavy rock tones using the SG, and suited my pragmatic requirements.

But with the 3 P-90s, it just opened up on a whole different level. Normally, I'd associate Randall with heavier stuff, but those 2 together, man, they just sing and wail. It was the first time in a long, long while that I got so completely immersed in playing and lost all sense of self-consciousness - just playing and making those two sing...

Very cool. I love those moments.
You must have been in the mood. Even that picture bleeds blues. It looks like an old school album cover.

Indeed - its like a musical state of grace or something.

As for the picture - that's how old my iPhone is. The pictures I take w/ it are strangely cool and retro. ;)

If you stand your guitars too close to the wall do you have difficulty finding them again?
