ORIGINAL: RobertB

Poly,
The sound on One may be dated, but, like yourself, so am I, and I have always liked that sound. Reminds me of Mannheim/Fresh Aire.
Nice performance on that. Sounds like you were pretty busy!
Space Station 3, yeah very Jarre. That was a fun listen.
Time, to me seems even more of a throwback, to the 70's, like Three Dog Night. Well executed, though.
I'm a big fan of playnig synths live, and hope to someday play on this level.
These four songs represent a wide variety, and each of us has our own favorite. My personal favorite is One, but we all have different taste.
I think that is one of the truly great things about this.

Thanks for the props Robert.
I was a little hesitant to post 4 songs at once, but I felt they covered so much ground I'd take a shot.
I was weaned on jazz and had most of my training in the bee-bop vein, but got a dose of reality in High School when I got in a rock band that played a lot of Alman Bros.
I was used to the jazz keys...Bb, Eb, C, G, F etc.....but all the songs we did in the rock band were in A, E, B, and sometimes G. It was a good dose of reality and made me a better player.
I would think age has a lot to do with who liked what song

Thanks again.
...especially for the Three Dog Night reference as they were one of my favs as a kid.

Hi - are you still out there?  I ran across the old post below, and wanted to listen to the tunes you had listed, but they are no longer out there.  Can you either repost them to the Sonar X2 forum or send me a private email with them attached, or tell me a good link to use?  I am a keyboard player as well, and love that kind of music.

Sorry to 'dump' my stuff on you good folks here....
I haven't posted in so long due to the fact that I've been slowly building my upgraded system along with some new 'toys' including Sonar 7.

No guitars were harmed during the process since none were used.
(The squashed/crunchy mix was intenional)

If you've made it this far, thanks.

I'd love to listen to your songs, but the links aren't working for me, neither on Chrome nor Firefox.

I re-upped the 4 songs. I work on so many project that I usually take my tunes down after a few weeks. I'm glad there's still interest out there on this stuff!!!!
