Wow!!!  What a difficult piece that had to be!  KILLER guitar work dude!  I like the mix and production.
If I had to make one tiny crit, it would be concerning the choice of reverb on the vocal.  To me (for whatever that's worth..lol), it doesn't fit the rest of the mix space  (too small?).  Or possibly some predelay might have sweetened it up a bit.

Other than that, AWESOME!

Now... tell me a bit about how ya got that guitar sound.....  ;-)

Mike - Thanks for commenting

Danny - thank you! got your mp3 and it sounds excellent!

Tony - thank you!  Interesting take on the vocal reverb.   That's my standard perfect space impulse I use for faster songs.  As I don't necessarily know what I'm doing with reverb, I'll play with the pre-delay.

As for the guitar tone - The power guitars are my 10th Anniversary Jem in drop C tuning, straight in, using POD Farm 2 for the tones.
The Lead guitars are my Les Paul Standard, again POD Farm 2.

I'm using the Pro Channel EQ for sculpting, and no compression - for lead I'm using PSP stereo enhancer and ping pong delay

Great job on this Geno. A little too acrobatic for my tastes but I'm pretty conservative I guess:)
I think the drums are amazing. Programming something like that would put me in an adrenelin coma I think.
to me, they got kinda buried in the mix though.
Guits and vocs are as usual top notch.

I think this is incredible!  GREAT to hear you sing again.

And my fingers are worn out just listening to that guitar.  :)

Great stuff!

Tim - Thanks.  Yeah - acrobatic - that's a good description!  I get carried away sometimes.  Glad you like the drums.  Like you said - there are a lot of drum parts that got buried, maybe due to the dense mix - like snare roughs that you can't really hear.

Janet - Thank you - sorry about your fingers..soak them in ice water - that helps! :)

Hey, Geno,

Absolutely phenomenal job on this classy sounding remake!

I love the guitar tones and the solos, which are both soaring and super tasty.  Top notch vocals, as always, and amazing job on the performances of all the instrumentation.  The mix sounds crystal clear, and nice and punchy on my system.

Excellent work, Geno!
