It's plain scary how many timeless melodies Paul has written! I think out of that list I like Junk best.

My favourite McCartney album is Ram and one of his oddest tunes is a favourite of mine "lunch box/odd sox"- think from Venus and mars

I listened to a lot of this last night. I believe I read that PM's band was used for the recordings, which explains why I liked Def Leppard's Helen Wheels so much!

man, i thought there were more musicians/beatles/mac/whatever lovers here,
real surprised this didn't garner more interest.

To be frank Bats, I've had about all the Beatles/related matters I can be doing with, for a lifetime. They were good, then they split up. Just like any other band. 'Maybe I'm Amazed' was a fantastic track, post Beatles, but that's about it for Macca; and it was a loooong time ago.. Lennon's solo stuff was horrible, as was Harrison's.
