Bats I think this is very interesting and cool as well. It is testament to McCartney that all these great artists were willing and keen to do it.
 
Unfortunately the Pandora thing won’t work here in Australia.
 
What james is saying about Lennon and Harrison is opinion only. Remember that. Personally I felt that Lennon was the Beatles and his material after the Beatles is actually quite exceptional as was Harrisons.
 
But I agree with bats in that this is not really a purely Beatles thing at all.

Sure, I get that. I'd just rather listen to something new than Beatles covers or endless Hendrix barrel scrapings. In fact, I'd rather listen to your stuff, (or Distant Towers, or Big Big Train)

Wonder if we'll be getting a new Lennon out-takes CD this year because it's 24 years after his death :)
 
But I reckon some of those post beatles Lennon albums were dynamite. Some of the songs you never hear anymore like Old Dirt Road and Out the Blue are really cool.

I haven't heard it yet Bat so didn't and still don't have much to say about it.
I've been spending most of my listening time with loads of new albums but will probably
check out a few of the covers that I like the tunes or players.
Didn't know about it so thanks for the heads-up.

I was surprised by a few of the tunes. I couldn't wait to hear Dylan sing a Beatle song or Kiss do Wings.
