Nothing to make me jealous, but it's nice to see that Steinberg is improving Cubase.

I was trying to figure out what VCA was in Pro Tools...

So basically, it's a feature that enables you to do exactly what you would accomplish in Logic or Sonar if you grouped or even just freely selected a bunch of faders and moved them?

Only in Sonar and Logic, it doesn't have a name because, it's only normal that an operation should be performed on multiple selections... :/

I don't know if those are still available, but Cakewalk products had a bunch of grouping options back in the day - absolute, relative, opposite (or whatever it was called)...

I haven't seen anything quite like it in other softwares...

Looks like a $99 upgrade and downloadable.  nice.

some great features now included in Cubase.  yeah they have been standard or similar in other DAWs but really nice in the Cubase environment.

definitely going to wait for the initial round of bug fixes and reports before jumping in.

Wow resizable and dockable  windows. Who would've thought? Oh and it seems Cubase now has true floatable  windows and multi monitor support. What will they think up next?

I feel the same way when it comes to nested folders, except X3 doesn't have that feature yet.
