I don't often post music here, not even sure why there is always great feedback!
anyway, not sure how many people will dig this and I'm not really looking for production feedback as there was no production haha. Just MIDI and some reverb.
any thoughts on composition would be greatly appreciated.

That is really different!  I think it would fit right in a soundtrack somehow.  Very well played and I like the woody tone of the piano.  (What piano is it?)
I'm sort of a guitar player, so I can't say too much about keys, but I heard a lot of cool sounding, "outside" notes in the left hand...and you know what I always say-  "Play more black keys!!!"  LOL

Well done Adji.

Thanks mate. It's not me playing, I just programmed it with MIDI using Cakewalk's bundled Piano (SI-Piano I think?).
I'm a guitar player mainly but also a composer so experiment with other instruments, I write a lot for piano and strings. Glad you liked it!

Interesting composition. Did you compose this or is it a cover?

It had lots of dissonance in it... which I like at times.  For what it was, it sounded good.

Watching and listening to Man's Greatest Machines..... nice tone and chops on that.

thanks man. Yeah I composed it. I studied Composition at university. It does have a lot of dissonance, my biggest influence in terms of composition is Scriabin and pretty much any 1900-1930 Russian haha. They had some seriously awesome, seriously dark music coming from Russia at that time.
Thanks for the comments on MGM. That's from my album Cosmology :)

Sounds interesting. Not familiar with Scriabin but I liked Debussy a lot.

Interesting work, naked in its sound.  Cool thanks for sharing.

I find this to be raw, but refined.  It's interesting that you did this in the box.  Just curious, how did you enter the notes?

Cheers! I use Sibelius 5 to write my music then I exported the MIDI and imported the MIDI into X1. then did any tweaking I needed to. Not long finished writing a second prelude which should be up soon and will spend MORE time editing the MIDI to try and make for a more realistic dynamic.
