I know, I know.  And I will neither confirm nor deny whether I laughed or not.  And I have NO clue why the filters can't figure out that I typed "suspi cions" without the space and not a slur.  Crikey.

My original comment was about that but i decided to leave it alone.  I am downloading update now.  Looks like IK is really focusing on the live elements of the program.

That's another aspect of ST3 that I'm interested in. I have never used a computer on stage, ever. Not reliable enough. But ST3 looks like it's pretty well-suited to live use so I just might give it a try. Maybe New Year's Eve. The audience will be drunk enough not to notice if something goes awry.

Bit... I am glad you posted this. I have been looking at samplers etc. I just spent a while looking at BIAB but, dang.. I'd spend more on that than Kompete 10. I have about decided that for my used ST3 will probably be the best fit considering my needs and the price BUT.. I would have been UPSET if I had ordered the D/L product and had to spend hours and hours being frustrated (an I surely would have been). When I get ready I'll order the boxed version from SW and... THANK YOU for posting this. I had no idea (I usually don't until it's too late). Frustration has been the story of my life in recording.

Downloading ST3 went smoothly over here. Adding Miroslav too. Although I have NI Komplete and EastWest CCC, I do enjoy ST3 for its workstationlike feel. It's fun.

THE JBow. There can be only one!
Fleer's the first part of my last name, actually, an old synonym for "sneer", or "grin", originating from the Norwegian word "flire" ;)

Learn something new every day.

Previously, all I knew about Norway and Norwegians I learned from watching "Lillyhammer". Thanks to that show, I now know that Norwegians are all about sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. They're pretty much Alaskans with a different accent.

Julien, if you change your screen name I'd suggest going with "King Julien", after the lemur king in "Madagascar".

And that my friends is what all guitar hacks, (like me), pray for!

Actually my last time out we had a "guest" keyboardist.
I ran my wife's iPad into the PA, running SampleTank Free, triggered by a 24 key Oxygen 8.
Worked a treat!
