Thanks for listening, Wookiee.

@synkro... Awesome. I'm a still pretty slow at getting things done but that'd be cool.

Anyway guys, as I was typing up my epic description (which is what I've pretty much been doing all day) I realized I completely screwed up on my rhythm guitar section. The idea was to have three instances each of my two main rhythm tracks, set the first three to "Cleanish", "Low and crunchy" and "Hi". Then copy all those settings to the next set of three. However I made a complete mess of it and my second set is nothing like the first set so there's no point detailing what I did at this point. Kind of annoying because I spent a loooong time typing today but at least it uncovered my screw up and I got a chance to look at the project in far more detail than I would have otherwise. Cheers.

I think I'm gonna give this one more shot and really hone in on every single setting I made. I was kind of getting fed up with the tune but now that all the heavy lifting is done I shouldn't just abandoned it. I'll find a way to get those drums and rhythm guitars out into the open. Heck, I might even rerecord the rhythms using some of my external gear. I've been meaning to play with that stuff anyway so it'll be easier with a "finished" tune anyway. Thanks for the input and encouragement guys. I'll get this. Cheers.

Once towards the end, the "wall of sound" reminded me of Rob Zombie when I saw him last Christmas.  They made Z Z Top sound like a coffee house band.  Well, not really.  HUGE!   I'm going to find that part and crank it up even more.  My speakers will handle it but I'm not sure about my wife!  LOL.  Wow, I had a lot of volume room and it was in the 1:24 area that I flashed on Zombie.  This needs to be cranked up to gert ther real effect!! I agree with a bit more drums, maybe next time.  Pretty stinkin' good job, buddy!

Heheh. Thanks, man. That's some high praise. I've always enjoyed the Pugtones postings. :-)

Beeps, the pro's have weighed in on the technicalities of the mix so I won't belabor them.

And tell James that I have over 45K in posts and I'm still new to this too, and plus also my mixes are turrible.

Nice playing.

Really nice work there Beep, just my bag.  As a drummer I would love to here that wicked programming youve got bagging in my face. I followed your other thread on the main forum so I know of your trials with the drums.

I too posted my first effort recently with some trepidation, only to quickly find out there are some great people here with some great advice!

What??!!!??

A drummer who wants the drums louder?

Well as a bass player, I wanted the bass louder and in my face.

Straummy prolly wants the guitars louder and in his face.
