Eric, that's some nice guitar work to a cool progression.  The mix is still kind of in the moment, but when you get things balanced this will be a gem.  To my ears, I'm hearing a lot of upper mids, but less frequencies in the low-mids to bass range where the warmth lives.  These things usually change when one gets more familiar with a song.  Good job and good performances.

Nice work, Eric.  I really like the guitar tone on the electric.  I don't know how this got so far down without many hits.  Good ole Lynn is ALWAYS there, bless his heart.  This is nice and smooth but there is something that keeps it from being TOTALLY dreamy.  I don't know what it is and that usually means it's me.  Nice mix of acoustic and electric guitar.   I'm thinkin' that maybe a more solid drum track. I'll listen again.  That's easy to do!!  Maybe the hand drum or something "triplets" is what is bothering me?  Maybe.

  I like where this is going. I would work on easing the highs in the lead and the percussion for this type of genre. Maybe think of the soundstage too and where instruments reside from front to back. Lots of everything is directly up front right now. Nice song.

Hi Eric, this song has a lot of potential in general. your lead guitar playing is nice , very melodic and tasty. if that is what you are looking to showcase in this tune, I'm thinking out loud , so forgive me...i think the intro spills the beans too early and leaves your lead guitar out hanging to long w no place left to go . my suggestion would be to give the songs intro a little breathing room , maybe set it up a little with the nylon string in a sparser background that builds thematically and introduces the various layers over a short period of time as the song builds .
