Ok I gave it my best , I worked on my song for five hours today resinging it , remixing , rewriting part of the lyrics and now I'm finished and happy with it from my end .

I know its a dark song but hey its reality on the streets today , thats really what my song is about .
Its about keeping kids off drugs and all the other trash that goes along with it .

Any comments on my song and vocal mix ???????????

Gee nobody likes my song , oh well I guess my lyrics were too dark for most of you love birds ! LOL

James, it's 3:25am here at least. I think the lyrics are fine. They don't however sit correctly in the mix and are out of time slightly. I am using the headphones, which definitely affects how I hear things, but, that's an issue. Keep at it, you made it past a hurdle you wanted to get over :).

   Thanks for the listen and comments , you pointed out something I wasn't too confortable with either after listening to it a few times over and over thinking something with the lead melody that doesn't fit like a glove with my verse lyrics only .
 
Thats why I was hoping someone else might confirm what I was hearing myself , you just confirmed it with me so what I will have to do is upload the vocal track to project 5 and try replaying the lead melody .
Maybe I can line it up with what I'm singing , if that doesn't work then I guess I'll have to redo the lead melody track and then resing it all over again .

Made some corrections on my lead melody track for my two verses , then I recorded a new vocal track for the entire song .

Good work on the vocal James... I think you did well with the lyrics too... I believe the production might be more effective if you muted the lead line during the vocal sections...  well done...

Lyrics are easier to understand.  Nice job.  The subject matter might be too close to home on certain levels for me.  They are true but sad to me.  Think you got it, though.  Way to stick to it.  Oh, the vocal is well done, James.
