I still do not own their De-Esser or the Expander-Gate. Eventually I will

At 50% off the two will cost me $109 for 32bit plugs. On their forum Ben has stated that Mixbus 3 is nearly ready (can you say NAMM announcement?). So I'll wait to see what they offer for the 64bit Version 3.

Something tells me that not only will the version upgrade cost me something, the plugs may well come with a price too.

Gotta save my pennies for now.

Man, I bought into the whole shi-bang also... Certainly hope they go easy on their early supporters.  Really, not sure what 64bit is going to bring to the table unless they add vsti support.

That is what it is supposed to be all about - MIDI, VST/VSTi in 64bit.

Mixbus is based on Ardour

But of course MB is a Windows application. So development time lags Ardour (which is now 64bit, VSTi and MIDI capable).

Thanks for the update bapu! Hopefully I can make some time to check out the Forums later today.

Have a Great and Happy Holiday!

Haven't installed it on the new studio computer. Not entirely out of the question that I upgrade to 3 when it comes out, but it'll really have to impress me.

To paraphrase Bono, I need a 3rd DAW like a fish needs a bicycle.

I discovered Garage Band on my new iPhone.

Plus I can do music videos at 240fps.
