After playing around with Ozone 6 and reading this thread, (a lot of good information in it), I have to amend my original comments. Its a lot nicer then I first thought. I noticed I was able to get an improvement from it with material I put through it. In stand alone it has more options especially with the ability to use VSTs within it.
That is not the way I work but as a plugin it is better than I thought. I must also confess I never used the reverb module ever. It seems to be a little easier to navigate then 5 or 4. 4 is the one I tend to use most.
I also have been using T-Racks somewhat. I'm going to look a lot closer at this before I can say with certainty its a real winner. I know Ozone 4 works very well, 5 not so sure. I just upgraded to 5.
In the past I often stated 'little Ozone can go a long way'. That is it is very powerful and can do great damage to a mix. I think this version is less prone to be so easy to over do it. However, I will still stand by the notion of not over doing it.
All in all its seems now to be a good buy. Happy mastering.
