How do you register a Native Instruments Serial Number? I have done this before but can't remember how to register a serial number of a product I bought from a guy and then download it. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Service Center doesn't help me cuz I don't have the program installed. I need to.get the serial registered so I can download it. Thanks for the try though. I've done this before so I know thete's a way. Could it be you do an off-line registration?

go to NI website, login and you should see the registered software that has been transferred to you from the other user.  you should be able to download the product from your account.
 
install product. activate product with serial number.
 
now it should show up in your service center.  download and install any product updates.
 
you should be all set.
 
you didn't say what product it is but if it's a kontakt library NI should have added the product to your account and you should see some download links.

Has the person transferred it? They may have just had the serial deleted and given bassdaddy the serial number. Worth checking your account though just to see.

Not sure what you do in that case. Maybe contact NI? You do have an unregistered serial so they should see you right.

Contact NI tech support, ask them to register the serial number to your account.
As long as the seller un-registered it, you won't have a problem.
I have sold a few and that is how the buyers did it.
