Warren - Forsooth and Egad oh wondrous Maestro, your bounteous and felicitous missive does verily bring blushes of scarlet hue to my odious visage! And the fair and sweet Lady Miriam is quite overcome with the vapours at your knightly courtesy! Thankee! Your most humble and obedient Servant and Bard of the Magnificent and Illustrious Court of The Good Queen Bess, Malcolm! - And that is English too :-)

quite an eclectic salad!  at first i was wary of what i thought was going to be an autotuned fiasco as i didn't read anything initially and don't know the names of the vocaloid voices, but the song arrangement did indeed draw me in and i felt comfortable with it halfway through. the synth solo made me think of herbie hancock. at high volume, the drums seem a little too dominant, which isn't necessarily a bad thing imo, and in this case it has this steady driving force that powers the track like the energizer bunny.

a highly original tune here executed well. nice job on this.

Hi Daren - Sincere thanks and so pleased you like this piece. I love your comparison to the "Energiser Bunny" - very much agree! When I wrote it, I knew it simply wasn't possible to have Miriam sing at any speed without sounding (even more!) weird. She therefore needed to sing comparatively slowly and to provide the driving force I needed something else - drums and bass where the obvious solution. And as I mentioned in an earlier comment, I know my local audience will just ask why the drums aren't louder! You have to pity their ears!

Enjoyed that very much Malcolm! Happened to have a guitar strapped on, so I had fun jamming along. Nice celtic tune, like a more driving Clannad.

Hi BIABDude - Sincere thanks - I have never had that many +'s here before. Ever. Wow!

Hi James - Sincere thanks - I really wish I could have heard you jamming along. I bet it sounded fantastic. I am sure you were playing exactly what I should have written to make this song really work. Sir, you Rock - I just stumble along!

Hey Malcolm
I loved everything about this piece.  The song structure and arrangement are very original.  Cool solo keytar sound and very well played.  What grabs me is your percussion beat. Song really chugs along and is very catchy.  GREAT JOB!

Nice song Malcomb. Miriam doesn't quite cut it for me on this one. But I get it.. Who's that singing with her? Her boyfriend?

Hi Kev - Sincere thanks. As you know, I write all my songs by notation and then use soft synths to play the music and vocals. Lead guitar tends to be the most difficult to get any realism into the sound. But I try! So pleased it works for you.

Hi Tim - Sincere thanks. Dear Miriam, don't we just love her! As for a boyfriend, she didn't tell me! Curses, I thought I was the only man in her life! I used EW Symphonic Choirs for the Basses and Tenors - Basses singing "Freedom" and the Tenors singing backing for Miriam. I must admit I rather like the combination - and of course Miriam loved having all those men around!

Hi Janet - Sincere thanks - Miriam "interesting"? I thought that was ALL women! Miriam says she is interesting AND amazing - yep, she's definitely a woman!
