Any songwriting software u guys use or recommend?
Any software that can suggest chord progressions based on few criterias that would choose?
How do you use Sonar to help you write a song?

What criteria could you use?

I have a much simpler solution for you...

Chord progressions are not under copyright so you could "borrow" any chord progression you like the sound of

If you hear one you like just simply google the song title followed by the word "chords" and voila

Just be careful not to "borrow" melody lines or lyrics and you will be fine

The Groove3 songwriting theory video covers a good range of chord progressions and their uses so I would suggest getting this rather than software

TAXI recommend this program. Lyrics. Work out your own chords. More fun and you won't sound the same as everyone else. The lyrics will often suggest the melodies and hence the chords.
