I love these 48 hour songs. Back in the late 80s I had a fully baked 9 hour song.

Thanks for sharing.

My only crit is the whole thing sounds a bit too compressed. Probably a personal taste thing so take it with a grain of salt.

LYNN: I take it back. After retracking the vocal and isolating the kick...well, you were right and I'm man enough to admit it. The kick IS clicking. It being midi, I have no idea how to correct it. Any ideas?

Thanks, Kev. I thought the lead was tastefully restrained. Usually I try to play too many notes. Glad you liked it.

Ed, a man of your skills can casually knock off a song on your lunch break, or even while sleeping, although I imagine that annoys your wife a bit. It usually takes me weeks to flesh out a tune. By the way, I've been accused of overcompression before; if I keep trying I might get it right one day.

You can always replace the bass drum with another sample.  Is Session Drummer part of Home Studio?  If not, you may want to google bass drum samples, as there are a ton of freebies out there.  Or, isolate the frequency of the click and notch it out with a parametric EQ.  Many great recordings have had a clicky bass pedal, so you're in good company.  Best of luck.

Mark, you can adjust the kick volume level in the SD2 GUI.
How are you triggering the drums?

Robert, I generate drums with Jammer Pro. When I remixed it, I did in fact lower the kick volume. It helped, but the kick still sounds clicky. But, really, most of my friends and family will never notice. Thanks for the use of your ears.
