Yes.  Very sad--and surprising.  RIP Jack.

Terrible news. I'm so glad the 2005 Cream reunion happened. He wasn't in great health then as I recall, but they were stellar. R.I.P.

Yep, Dave, that's a major bummer about Jack!  If it wasn't for Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love", I would never have begged my parents for a year and a half to let me take guitar lessons.

Like Clint mentioned, I'm at least very happy they had the reunion a few years back.

It's too bad he died one day after the official announcement about the big box set release yesterday. http://classicrock.teamrock.com/news/2014-10-23/cream-detail-6lp-box-set

We're really starting to lose a lot of the rock pioneers this year.  I mentioned in the Johnny Winter thread a month or two ago, that growing up as a kid I only had three posters on my bedroom wall: Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter and Cream Goodbye.

Enjoy you weekend, guys!

Great loss, indeed. I really thought Ginger would be the first to croak, but he keeps on. He and Keith Richards should donate their bodies to medical research to figure out their secret of longevity.

Wow... I didn't know he was sick. A very talented man. Very sad. RIP.
