Love it! Nice and punchy! I agree on the keys thing.

I'm on the trail of a good brass synth...it's what I had.  Thanks guys!

I love the guitar tones & performance here. Nice mellow vocal works well too. I agree with the comments above that the horn/synth part is a bit loud/false sounding. I like the parts but the synth sounds too fake. Nice work otherwise though!

Great tones (goes without saying). I always admire the many lyrical ideas you seem to have - I'm hopeless at that.

It's all been said re the horns/brass/whatever, so I'll just say I agree with most comments.

Now that's being creative with lyrics!  Nice song and well done, Daryl!

Hey Daryl (great name by the way)
Guitars and vocals as always sounding great and a very well written song - clever lyrics too.
I'm really sorry though - I find the horn part very distracting.
How about replacing it with a nice warm organ part or something instead or remove it altogether?

Different people will give you different advice about different plugs/synths. Like I said, I like mojo for a horn section? But I'm sure some hate it. It's best to demo different things and see what you like/think sounds best to you? But this I know? Sample modeling "rocks hard..."  http://www.samplemodeling.com

They're not cheap? And you get "an instrument?" You don't get a horn section. But that instrument, sounds like you have one of those playing with you? Their Mr. Sax T demo/example cut will make a believer out of you. I used it on my song that Timaaaaay remixed? "Just a lie - Reimaged Timbo" It sounds like a sax player is playing with me? Or as close as you can get it... Of course? That midi track looks like a piece of modern art ;-) With all of the bends and volume changes?  (and you can change how hard you're biting on the friggen reed! "to add growl...")  But, samplemodeling.com, I'm a believer and a satisfied customer, these guys are geniuses, artists, and ahead of their time IMO.

Daryl,

Good song.  Creative spin on Rosetta Stone.   Vox and guitars are really good.  Not crazy about the horns, horns are tough, you need some volume swells to get a more realistic vibe going.  Otherwise, good stuff.
