I have been having serious problems with the new version. Freezes the computer and only shows half the toolbar with no ability to edit. I went back to the previous version. I love Duckbar and Panu is a bloody genius!

Southpaw3473,
I'd like to know more details of your problems with Duckbar. Could you try the newest version again and send me the log.txt file after a test run? Run also compatibility checker from Main menu | Help and see if it can find anything.  I have currently very limited possibilities to test Duckbar on Windows 8.1 which may be behind your issues... Any hints to repair problems are valuable!

> Can it make a half dozen sends show up at one time and 20% more channels visible in the mixer?

Well, at least Duckbar adds toolbar buttons in the Console View to toggle visibility of tracks, buses and mains... Future version is a full featured dream DAW with unlimited sends.  Just wait for a couple of years. :)

> Did you make the active-track text-glow color to be customizable?

It may be customizable in Duckbar's  EXE Colors editor (it can tweak even hundreds of hard-coded colors that are not accessible via SONAR preferences). If you're really interested, visit sonarmods.com and ask help from ZMODs, the EXE Color guru.

Are there any videos or screen shots to help better understand exactly what this does?

+1. Screenshots would be nice.

Hey Panu,
I re-ran the installer under compatibility mode and it seemed to install correctly this time. I'm glad to have the Redd fader caps back! Now if I can figure out how to make the active track color more visible I will be one happy camper! I'll head over to SonarMods and see if ZMODS has any ideas

Panu,
I still cannot get the Utilities Menu editor to work. I get Unable to import UM entries from system registry. Check registry paths in program preferences. How can I work around that?
