Well, Thanks for all of that. That's the most I've seen so far. I looked around on your forum, but I guess I missed it.

Thanks for posting screenshots of this. I've been holding off for a while on this because I couldn't see exactly what it does. Installing now. :)

Hmm, getting the "Duckbar has stopped working" message.

X64
Installed using compatibility mode for Win7 and ran as administrator. (Had to reinstall because I forgot to change settings beforehand. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Uninstalled before I reinstalled)
Changed the application to use compatibility mode as well when it failed to start and ran as admin. No go.

So it's the installer that gives the error message, not Duckbar itself.
Any chances to take a screen capture of the error message?

I installed and ran it as Admin in Win 8.1 x64......everything went smoothly and I was briefly able to look at Duckbar menu as well in X3. There's just sooooo many options to customize, I was simply overwhelmed.......all these options are probably good for a Power User, but I generally end up using only the the Mod Patcher and possibly a few other items.

Thanks again Panu.....this is a great service to all of us that you've undertaken.......it's sincerely appreciated.

First Duckbar steps I would do:
  1. Customize floating toolbar if you keep it visible and remove unneeded buttons (Duckbar settings)
  2. Check Picture Cache options and clean old cache files (Tasks | Picture cache).
  3. Open Settings | Performance Options. Check Thread scheduling model and set it to Quad Cores+ if you have 4 or more cores in your CPU.
  4. Change Duckbar menustrip appearance to suit your style (Duckbar settings, first tab; check "Use Custom Main Menustrip Background" and browse for an image. Duckbar includes 25 variations but you can use your own graphics, too.
  5. Go to Duckbar Settings | External Paths tab. Set default Image editor and Text editor. Set SONAR Reference Guide pat(s  (PDF filfes). Click download buttons at the bottom of the tab if you haven't downloaded them from the Cakewalk site already. Rightmost button in the floating toolbar opens this PDF guide.

Hi Panup, sorry not possible - I re-downloaded the file and it ran perfectly.

Corrupt download ?

Cheers, and sorry for the bother.

Yup. Tried 2.0.5 as well just now. Same things. :(
