Here it is! This was posted upstairs. The shot on the left is the new X-4 screenshot preview as compared the X-3 on the right!

The debate rages upstairs on which is the most black.  I Am just the messenger here!  Don't ask for an apology from me if the rages runs amuck here also!

X-4 is clearly superior in every way!

the only way to really know which is better ,  is to do a blindfold test and compare the sonic results

I heard that X4 plays straight 16th note MIDI hi-hat patterns with a looser, funkier feel than either Cubase or Logic. It's not something that you can measure in ticks or samples, it's just a subtle groove that you can sense.

WOW! Looks like they've really streamlined the GUI. No more Control Bar. No more Inspector. No more Browser. No more Console View.... Any other 'No More's' we don't know about? Like.... no more price?!

btw, I think you got it backwards. X4 is CLEARLY on the right. The one on the left looks way to familiar.

I knew it wasn't pics of yours Bill. Yours would have had wav forms if nothing else.

I was surprised, knowing where it came from, that it didn't have fluorescent colors, flashing lights for the record button/active channels and a little lava lamp on the control bar...not to mention a page from a host explaining why it was moved.

I remember when there were versions that didn't work very well if at all and the songs forum was a busy place...weird huh?
Maybe X4 will have a button that will generate a tune....or maybe open a window for one to type a question like; "why can't I hear anything?" and the user guide will open and play a captioned video on how to generate a tune and if one likes it can have a mastered take exported and posted in the songs forum, sent to friends and family members, the clouds, Amazon and any other places one chooses, all in one easy step. (the button next to the lava lamp)
