Anyway, has anyone ever noticed an effect in the FX bin displayed with gray text instead of the blue?
What does that mean? I get it once in awhile but I don't know what it means.

to me that sounds like it's bypassed.  does the FX still work?  can you audibly hear it?
 
right click on the FX bin and verify if it's by passed or not.

No soup becan for you! As was stated upstairs, bypassing turns the text a darker blue (which isn't very helpful because you may not notice the slight change in color). I've only seen gray text a couple of times and I don't remember if the effect worked or not. I'm thinking it didn't. Was just curious if anyone had ever seen this.

ok..this is another of the coffee house thing that seems like inside joke.  I'm assuming "becan" is an inside joke version of "bacon"?  i figure it is but would hate to offer someone some becan and find out it is some disturbing meaning completely out of context.
