Happy thoughts from me on your behalf, Dave!

Prayers-a-risin' brother D! Years with Afib & flutter and two ablations, I know the anxiety and general suckiness of health issues.

Thank God for grandkids - enjoy every bit of it Bit! Few things bring more joy (or wear you out) like those blessed babies. Kind of the old man's Red Bull. Okay, I'm only 54 years young but have 4 of them and wouldn't trade them for the world!

You're in my prayers, Bit. It's probably not said said very often, but you bring a fresh supply of sanity into this little nuthouse whenever you visit. Your viewpoints are always appreciated. Hope you feel better soon and that you have a great time hanging out with your granddaughter. 10 is a fun age. (Well, they all are.)

Thanks again. Almost all of you are truly fine people I'm glad to know, and who would be welcome guests at my funeral. So if I ever pull a ba_midi and just disappear, it's not because you were left off the mailing list.

Not that I'm planning an exit any time soon! But aside from death row inmates, nobody knows when their last day on earth will be. All you can do is live each day as if it was. I know Billy did. I'll be drinking a toast (of green tea) to Billy again next July.

Be well Flipper.

I've been reading and starting some different eating habits. The first book that really got my attention is one called Grain Brain by Dr. David Perlmutter. It deals not only with neurology and food, gluten in particular, but also cardio and all kinds of inflammations. It is a VERY interesting read. I recommend it.

Please be well.

Fortunately, the exercise machine is paid for, so I'll be back on it every day.

better make sure that the exercise machine is not the THING causing the angina.
what they call 'stable angina'.

i assume you have a heart doc, and they've screen you for blockages and done stress tests, etc etc

Yeh, I did a stress test. But first, they tried 7 times before getting an IV installed, gave me morphine to offset the wounds they'd inflicted. Then they kept me awake all night, drawing blood every hour or so. All the while I was not allowed anything to eat until after the stress test. That didn't happen until 2:00 PM, by which time I'd been a whole day without eating, and no sleep. I was hungry, my blood sugar was at 70 and the morphine had worn off.

Just the condition you want to be in when you step onto a treadmill. They cranked that machine up until I wasn't walking anymore, but running. After 20 minutes I still hadn't raised by heart rate high enough for the test. 133 BPM was the target, 120 BPM was all I could manage. Is it just a coincidence that's also the default tempo when you open a new SONAR project?
