Personally I see the recent mashup trend in guitars as a dearth of creativity, but they seem to be popular enough to continue appearing.

Looks like a weird version of a Gretsch White Falcon.......only crappy.

Since I'm no big fan of Tele, I'm always looking for ones with mods.
 
I like a tele with a Bigsby - or anything other than the traditional tele bridge. Likewise, I don't like single coils too much these days, so the traditional pick up configuration of the telecaster is out.
 
Still, there is something about the Telecaster which just calls to me - I need one ad I need to find one that works for me.
 
Oddly enough, the models that I like aren't the big expensive ones most of the time. Like the Squier Vintage Modified Cabronita Telecaster:

 
Or the Modern Player
 

 
A mix of both of these would be pretty awesome...
